§127. National Korean War Veterans Armistice Day
(a) Designation.—July 27 of each year until 2003 is National Korean War Veterans Armistice Day. (b) Proclamation.—The President is requested to issue each year a proclamation calling on— (1) the people of the United States to observe National Korean War Veterans Armistice Day with appropriate ceremonies and activities; and (2) all departments, agencies, and instrumentalities of the United States Government, and interested organizations, groups, and individuals, to fly the flag of the United States at halfstaff on July 27 of each year until 2003 in honor of the individuals who died as a result of their service in Korea.
