§4914. Academic year and summer term for page program
The page program shall consist of the two semesters of the academic year, plus a non-academic summer term.

Amendments 1996—Pub. L. 104–186 substituted "semesters of the academic year, plus a non-academic" for "terms of the academic year plus a".

Effective Date Section 5 of House Resolution No. 234, Ninety-eighth Congress, June 29, 1983, as enacted into permanent law by Pub. L. 98–367, title I, §103, July 17, 1984, 98 Stat. 479, provided that: "This resolution [enacting this section, sections 4915 and 4916, and former section 88c–1 of this title] shall take effect on the date on which this resolution is agreed to [June 29, 1983], except that section 3(a)(1)(A) and section 3(b)(2) [section 4915(a)(1)(A), (b)(2) of this title] shall apply to terms beginning after November 30, 1983."
