§275c. Cost recovery authority

Fees for calibration services, standard reference materials, and other comparable services provided by the National Institute of Standards and Technology shall be at least sufficient to meet the requirements set forth in the amendments made by subsection (a),1 and any funds recovered in excess of such requirements shall be returned to the Treasury of the United States.

Amendments 1988—Pub. L. 100–418 substituted "National Institute of Standards and Technology" for "National Bureau of Standards".

Statutory Notes and Related Subsidiaries

Effective Date Pub. L. 99–73, §5(c), July 29, 1985, 99 Stat. 172, provided that: "The amendments made by subsection (a) [amending section 278b of this title] (and the provisions of subsection (b) [enacting this section]) shall be effective October 1, 1984."
