§5623. Effective date

The allowance under section 5622 of this title— (1) shall be available beginning with the month of May 1997; (2) through the end of September 1997, shall be paid from the applicable accounts of the House of Representatives on a pro rata basis; and (3) beginning with fiscal year 1998, shall be paid as provided in appropriations Acts.
